Julian Wolkenstein pays the bills doing ad photography. Having won a Cannes International Advertising Festival gold award the last two years in a row for his commercial photography, he does quit well in the
ad industry. Yet, his own, un-commissioned work is also worth checking out. Bleeding from the absurd, sometimes dark nature of his commercial work, his pieces remain slightly outlandish but still adhere to a pop culture standard resulting in both the bizarre and the familiar.
